Hard Work Pays Off
It’s incredible how many people say they’d like to get fitter and healthier, but aren’t quite sure about where to start. That’s where I come in. I offer a fitness structure and the positive reinforcement you need, so that you can concentrate on getting your body and mind into the state you desire. All classes can be booked online - one at a time or in a block, or drop-in if that suits you better! See you on the mat.
Strength & Healing
Seasonal Yoga is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together in line with the energy of the season. Yoga classes at The Highland Yogi attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind. These classes are aimed at a general level, suitable for all.
Classes are at St Mary's Church Hall, Glencoe at 7pm on Monday evenings, and St Munda's Church Hall, at 9:30am on Friday Mornings.
Gentle Flowing Movement
Beginner's yoga is a gentle introduction to hatha yoga where you will learn breathing techniques, yoga postures and flows and relaxation. These classes are suitable for all, and can be helpful whether you are a beginner, someone recovering from an illness, getting back to practice after a break, or just looking for a gentle practice.
Classes are at St Mary's Church Hall, Glencoe at 5:45pm on Monday evenings.
Freedom and Flight
Aerial Yoga helps build a strong core, decompress the joints and create space in the body. You are supported by a silk hammock which gives you foundation for deeper stretches and improves your core stability. The hammock provides a unique, safe and fun basis to develop the mind, body and spirit.
We run beginner's workshops which are a gentle introduction to the hammock and these are suitable for all abilities. The workshops are small, longer sessions to make sure you are super comfortable before you begin to fly!
Aerial classes are booked by block, and run on Thursday evenings at Glencoe Mountain Rescue Centre.
