Absolute Beginners' Aerial Yoga Workshop
Time & Location
About the Event
Aerial Yoga is a form of yoga where we use a silk hammock to support our bodies in the postures to provide more foundation and support. I first came to aerial to help with arthritis, leaning on my butt was easier than on my hands, knees and feet! I fell in love instantly and trained as an aerial yoga teacher, and have now joined forces with our local mountain rescue centre, to accommodate a regular series of classes and workshops.
This workshop is intended for the complete beginner. Please come wearing comfortable clothes with no jaggy zips or buttons, and all jewellery will need to be removed before class (wedding rings excepted). Please were a top with sleeves, t-shirts are fine, and please refer to our list of contraindications, and get in touch if you feel any apply to you.
There will be plenty of time to ease your way into the fun and freeing way of practising yoga and you can progress as far as you feel comfortable during class.
Please park in Glencoe Village Car Park immediately adjacent, not in the rescue centre car park, as it is always for rescue vehicles only.
